High School Students Advance Toward Computer Science Degrees

Students in the State Farm Computer Science Scholarship Program connected with State Farm representatives Nancy Smith and Kevin Reeves at a luncheon celebrating the students’ academic achievements.

These scholars are on track to receive their associate degree in computer science from Heartland Community College while still in high school. “[This program has] open(ed) doors to valuable experiences and skills vital for my success in technology and engineering,” says Rajas Patil, student in the program.

The State Farm Computer Science Scholarship Program provides tuition assistance to students from Normal Community West High School and Olympia High School.
