Heartland Hawks Show Community Support During Annual Service Day

More than 300 Heartland students, faculty, and staff made a positive impact on the community during the College’s annual Service Day. The College partnered with several sites across Bloomington-Normal, including Habitat for Humanity ReStore, the Prairie Pride Coalition, and the McLean County Nursing Home.

Volunteers cleaned bookshelves at the Bloomington Public Library, made blankets for veteran patients at Carle Bromenn Medical Center, assisted in landscaping at the Second Presbyterian Church, and stocked shelves at the Salvation Army in Pontiac, among many other meaningful activities.
