Donation Paves the Way for Growth in Heartland’s Radiography Program
April 14, 2025Ft. Jesse Imaging and the Gale Keeran Center for Women generously donated a GE Ultrasound Machine to the Heartland Community College Radiography Program.
The machine, complete with probe accessories, will provide the Health Sciences Department and Radiography Program with opportunities to explore future growth in sonography. Prior to this donation, Heartland’s Radiography program did not have ultrasound equipment, as its primary focus is Radiology/X-ray.
“The Heartland Community College Radiography Program greatly appreciates the continued support from Ft. Jesse Imaging Center. Our program exposes the students to a variety of imaging modalities, and the addition of the GE Ultrasound machine allows the students to further explore medical imaging pathways. With ultrasound continuing to be of high interest amongst prospective and current students, the ultrasound machine donation opens a potential pathway for future educational opportunities for Heartland students.” – Jacquelyn Ritchhart, faculty member in the Heartland Radiography Program.
