Heartland names VP of Finance and Administration

December 12, 2023

Heartland Community College has named Noah Lamb as Vice President of Finance and Administration. Lamb moves to Heartland from Wittenberg University (Springfield, OH) where he has served as Assistant
Vice President for Finance and Administration.

“Noah brings a depth of experience beyond that of just budget and finance—holding positions in administrative operations and business management during his career in higher ed.,” said Heartland President Keith Cornille. “We are very fortunate to have him join our team and look forward to adding his perspective to the College.”

Lamb comes to the position with 15 years of nonprofit higher education experience in finance and budget, auxiliary operations, physical plant, human resources, strategic planning, and risk management.

Prior to joining Wittenberg University in 2020, Lamb served as Assistant Vice President of Administrative Operations at Hodges University (Fort Meyers, FL) and as a Senior Budget Analyst at Marshall University
(Huntington, WV).

The District 540 Board of Trustees approved the hire at their regular meeting on December 12, 2023. Lamb is scheduled to begin at Heartland on January 22, 2024.

“I am honored to be selected as Heartland's next Vice President of Finance and Administration,” said Lamb. “I continue to be impressed by the faculty, staff, students and Board on their devotion to the College's mission and students' success. I’m eager to begin this new role where I hope to bring my experiences, enthusiasm, and dedication to the Heartland community."

The Vice President of Finance and Administration vacancy was created by the departure of Letisha Trepac in August. Since the vacancy, Sam Overton has been serving as Interim VP of Finance & Administration.
