Heartland Night Out[side] brings fun to the Quad on Sept 7

August 17, 2023

Heartland Community College Foundation is mixing fundraising with some outdoor fun to close out the summer.

The Heartland Community College campus in Normal is the location for Heartland Night Out[side], an evening of music, trivia, food, and festivities, all organized with the aim of raising funds for student scholarships and essential educational programs.

Heartland Night Out[side] will be held in the quad on the Heartland Community College Normal campus (1500 W. Raab Rd., Normal, IL) from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 7.

The night will feature the music from the band Toocan, who will present an eclectic mix of crowd favorites encompassing classic rock, blues, country, and contemporary top 40 hits. The event will also feature interactive trivia games and a silent auction, showcasing a diverse array of art, handmade items, and thoughtful gift baskets generously donated by esteemed local businesses, and a cash bar.

Admission tickets for the event are priced at $75 per person and include reserved seating, a picnic-style boxed meal from Baxter's American Grille, and one drink ticket.

Tickets can be purchased online at www.heartland.edu/foundation or via telephone by calling 309-268-8110.

Proceeds from Heartland Night Out[side] benefit scholarships and educational program support.

For those seeking additional details or requiring accommodation assistance, information can be found by emailing foundation@heartland.edu or by calling 309-268-8110.
