Men's Baseball and Men's Golf head to championship tournaments

Two Heartland Community College athletics teams will be playing for a national title this spring. 

The Heartland Hawks baseball team is making their fourth consecutive trip to the NJCAA DII World Series Tournament. 

The Heartland baseball squad will compete for the National Championship at David Allen Memorial Ballpark in Enid, Oklahoma, held May 24 – 30. The Hawks enter the playoff as the #4 seed.  

The Men’s Golf team competes in the championship tournament at Swan Lake Resort in Plymouth, Indiana, May 20-23.

In the NJCAA Region 24 Tournament, the Hawks golfers earn their ticket to the National Tournament by placing first in the contest held in Springfield, Illinois, at Panther Creek Community College. The team shot six strokes better than the next-best team.
