Collecting Data on the Essential Competencies

After developing rubrics for all five of the college's Essential Competencies (Communication, Problem-Solving/Critical Thinking, Diversity, Social Responsibility, and Technology), the Assessment Committee began collecting data in the Fall of 2021.

With data collection continuing, the Assessment Committee will begin to review the collected data, communicate with faculty on how to access the data for their own use, and develop strategies to improve students’ achievement of all five of the Essential Competencies.
