"My internship was at The Immigration Project. My career path is to become an immigration lawyer, so this internship and experience has definitely gotten me closer and a lot more passionate about towards this career."  -Samantha
"For my final semester at Heartland Community College, I decided to take advantage of the internship opportunities the institution had to offer. During the spring semester, I completed my first Criminal Law course which really solidified my choice in career path. With this internship, I gained a tremendous amount of knowledge, and I managed to get my foot in the door of the law field. I have made connections with amazing people and I will forever be grateful for the time I spent with them." -Kelsey
"My career path is to obtain a bachelor's degree in legal studies to learn more about the paralegal work that takes place in a law office. I felt this would provide me an opportunity to work as a summer intern and gain more insight and experience for my next career step, which is to obtain a law degree. Overall, this internship exceeded my expectations."
