Test out of Courses with a Proficiency Exam
Proficiency exams are available for those who would like to attempt to earn credit by examination.
Exam Appointments: A course proficiency exam should be completed at least two weeks before the beginning of a term as to allow time for credit processing. If you are interested in taking a Proficiency Exam, please contact your Academic Advisor to discuss your options.
Cost
The cost to register for each exam is $50. If you do not pass, $25 will be refunded.
Register
Registration forms are available from the Testing Center in the Workforce Development Center, Room 2600, and at the Lincoln and Pontiac Campuses. The $50 registration fee should be submitted to the Business Office in the Community Commons Building, Suite 2100.
